Heidi Jensen, MS, RD, CSO, LD is a Registered Dietician and Assistant Director and Nutrition Manager for Inspiritas.
One of the first Registered Dieticians in Texas with Board Certification as a Specialist in Oncology Nutrition, Heidi received her undergraduate degree in dietetics and her MS in Nutrition from Iowa State University. She has more than 13 years experience working with comprehensive cancer centers, private practice, and with corporate wellness and rehabilitation. She is also certified in Adult Weight Management by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She is a certified mastectomy fitter and compression therapy fitter.
A dedicated community volunteer, Heidi served in leadership roles with the Iowa State Dietetic Association, Iowa Nutrition Network, Des Moines Komen for the Cure and Junior League.
As a registered dietitian at Inspiritas, I assist a variety of clients with their nutritional needs including those with cancer, diabetes, eating disorders, and weight management. Each person is unique, and there are different nutritional approaches to meet their goals. My approach is to look at the individual and simplify recommendations to achieve the desired outcome. — Heidi Jensen
