Inspiritas is a haven for care-givers, families and any persons interested in maximizing their health and well-being.
The spa offers healing-oriented medicine based within the five National Institutes of Health defined domains of complementary medicine: biological therapies, which include nutrition-related treatments; massage therapies; mind/body intervention, including spiritual counseling and guided imagery; energy therapies, and whole medical systems, such as acupuncture. All of the modalities are evidence-based, meaning that they have been shown to be effective for reducing patient side-effects, reducing stress and also increasing the patient’s sense of well-being.
Inspiritas will include a prosthetic and wig resource center, with private fitting rooms and a wide selection of products.
The movement therapy studio provides a relaxing haven for mediation classes and also lectures on a variety of subjects.
The spacious spa area features well-equipped treatment rooms, changing rooms and showers, a beautifully appointed and relaxing quiet lounge, waterfalls, and a lovely outdoor zen garden.
Additionally, Inspiritas Spa will feature a large retail area, offering a wide variety of items helpful for the cancer patient, including paraben-free, fragrance-free, and organic skin and body care, inspirational books and gift items, guided imagery and music CD’s, all natural vitamins and nutritional supplements, and an organic tea bar featuring a healthy “tea of the day”, and teas and accessories for home preparation.

Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction is a process for exploring our meaning, our connection, and our relationship with the Sacred in our lives. The Spiritual Director serves as a companion who acts as a listening supportive person who helps you discern the spiritual journey. While important life issues may be discussed in the context of spirituality, Spiritual Direction is not therapy or counseling.
